10 Minute Shrimp Soup

Healthy, low-cal Shrimp Soup is ready in less than 10 minutes.

3 cups water
2 to 3 tsp. hot chili-garlic sauce (optional)
3-oz (85-g) pks seasoned oriential instant noodles
Such as Mr. Noodles
1/2 (340-g) bag small, frozen cooked shrimp
1 cup (250ml) frozen peas or 2 cups (500 ml) frozen,
oriental-style stir-fry vegetables

In a large saucepan, stir water with chili-garlic sauce. Bring to
a boil over medium-high heat. Add noodles and contents of seasoning
package. Stir until noodles are separated. Cook uncovered and stirring occasionally,
until noodles are cooked, about 3 minutes. Add shrimp and peas. Stir until
hot, about 2 minutes. Ladle soup into warm bowls. Serves 2 to 3

Add it:

*Other fish in the sea
In place of frozen mixed seafood or baby scallops, canned tuna or salmon or clams. Or
try leftover cooked chicken or beef.
*Fresh touch Stir in baby spinach leaves, sliced green onions or chopped parsley,
coriander or fresh dill.
*Try some spice Add dried dillweed, tarragon or lemon-and-pepper seasoning. In
place of hot-chili-garlic sauce, use dried chillies, Tabasco or chopped jalapenos.
